Originally from New Orleans, LA, I have called Houston home since relocating after Hurricane Katrina. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, where I received a comprehensive education in both community and mental health work. In my free time, I enjoy roller skating, watching horror movies, and reading books that delve into the human mind. I also love spending time with my family, trying new activities in Houston, and caring for my fluffy cats and turtles.

In my professional role, I support teens and adults in reframing negative thoughts and behaviors that impact their daily lives. My therapeutic approach emphasizes validation, empathy, and creating a safe space where you can express yourself freely. As a trauma-informed clinician, I focus on helping clients develop effective coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship challenges, and support through life transitions. During our first session, my goal is to build rapport and understand your goals. Therapy is truly client-led, and I will encourage you to take an active role in your treatment and be as open as you wish within this supportive environment.
